Rating: (1.5/5)

Champak (Riteish Deshmukh), Gulab (Vikram Thapa), and Genda (Bhuvan Arora) are self-declared idiots robbers.  They decide to rob the ‘Bank of Indians.’ But on the robbery day, they trap in wrong and awful situations due to their idiotic behavior.  The CBI officer Amjad Khan (Vivek Oberoi) is the in-charge of this case.   He wants to catch them.  To see actual happenings in this interesting bank robbery, you have to watch ‘Bank Chor!’

Plus Points:

No songs in the movie.  It is the major plus point in this hopeless movie.  Riteish Deshmukh has acted well.  He has given justice to his role as his role was an innocent yet mischievous robber.  But unfortunately, the sloppy script can’t help him. Same with Vivek Oberoi, he is commendable as a no-nonsense cop.   Bhuvan Arora and Vikram Thapa are amazing in their parts.

The Cinematography is ok.

Minus Points:

Now, I’m coming to its minus points.  Well, the story looks good to read only, but the director can’t present it as believable on the screen.  Its script is one of the worst scripts of recent times.   There are uncountable flaws in the script.  There are only three robbers and 28 people in the bank, but instead of taking any action, the CBI and Police stand outside the bank.

The movie fails as a comic-thriller entertainer.

The first half is slow and boring.  It is sad that there aren’t comic punch lines in the movie.  Bhuvan and Vikram’s (un)funny gags get on your nerves.    Jokes on Mumbai VS Delhi couldn’t provoke laughter.

Though the second half is a bit interesting, it is too much late to notice it.

Rhea Chakraborty has nothing to do in the movie. On the other hand, though Sahil Vaid (Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame) has tried for his menacing character, he fails miserably.

Is this movie worth a watch?

No.  It can’t rob your heart and time.  Don’t waste your money!
