Baaghi 2 (2018) Story:
Ronnie aka Ranveer Pratap Singh (Tiger Shroff) is a captain of special force. He has a posting in Kashmir. Four years later, Ronnie’s ex-girlfriend Neha’s phone (Disha Patani) comes from Goa to get her daughter Riya, who is missing. Riya has been abducted. When Ronnie arrives in Goa looking for help, then it is known that Neha has no daughter named Riya. Neha’s husband tells that Neha had an accident, and she is saying this because of the shock. Is Neha telling the truth? Or is her husband telling the truth? Is Riya really alive? Has she kidnapped? To know answers, you have to watch Baaghi 2!
The movie is based on the Telugu movie ‘Kshanam.’ The main story connects with another story, in which, the director shows the tragic love story of Ronnie and Neha.
The story is unpredictable. There is no chance to predict anything. The audience gets confused by thinking that who is right and who is wrong?
You will get to see many ups and downs until the second half. The audience shocks to see the twists and turns in the movie.
The movie keeps hold on the audience till the interval. The script is gripping. The movie also becomes interesting due to action scenes and love story.
Tiger Shroff’s action scenes are the main attraction of the movie. The climax is full of hardcore action sequences.
After several flops, Tiger Shroff has come with a bang and how! He has done action sequences with aplomb. He is perfect in emotional as well as intense scenes too. Disha Patani has not much scope in the movie. Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, Prateik Babbar, Deepak Dobriyal, Darshan Kumar, all actors are brilliant in their parts. The scenes between Tiger and Manoj are amazing.
As the director, Ahmed Khan has built this movie with action scenes and gripping narrative. The songs are ok. The cinematography is scenic.
The movie loses its grip in the second half. The main suspense has dragged too much in the movie.
The scriptwriters can’t put this story with logic. There are weak points in the movie. When the suspense reveals at the end, it comes with no logic. Also, the climax is weak.
Talking about the editing, the length of the movie could be reduced by 20 minutes.
The director could not make good situations for songs. ‘Ek Do Teen’ picturized on Jacqueline Fernandez, looks dull.
Is This Movie Worth to Watch?
Yes. Put the logic aside and watch for Tiger’s hardcore action scenes!
