Story- Three RAW agents get killed in China. ACP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) and the RAW agent KK (Sonakshi Sinha) goes to Budapest to arrest the mastermind behind these murders. Will they accomplish this mission successfully? Who is that mastermind? Why does he kill those three RAW agents? To know answers, you have to watch Force 2!
Critic’s conclusion- Kudos to Abhinay Deo, he has made one of the best Bollywood action thrillers. The story has no novelty, but the director presents it with the fast and gripping narrative. The script is thrilling and hooks you on the edge of your seat till the end. The movie has the fast pace. The movie is made with energy and speed. We can see this energy in every scene in the movie.
The movie gives an important message about RAW agents. Though RAW agents sacrifice their lives for the country’s pride, they don’t get the ‘Martyr’ status. When any country’s RAW agents get arrested or killed in another country, their country denies taking their responsibility. Even Their family gets bad treatment in their country. The movie tries to say that the RAW agents should get their respect like as soldiers and police.
The movie has not included the romantic or the comic angle in the story. The director keeps focusing on its main story till the end. There is not any boring scene or situation even for a second in the movie. The entire movie is revolved around the thrilling incident while catching the antagonist.
Never seen action sequences, unexpected turns and twists, and the nail-biting suspense are other major assets of the movie. I like those scenes most in Force 2 such as- John’s introduction scene, chasing scenes and the climax. Though the climax is predictable, it will not disappoint you. We will get watch first POV action scenes in the movie, which has not experienced in Bollywood movies ever before! Each character has an own energy. The story doesn’t become slow for a second.
However, the script has some loopholes. How is it possible that Yash and KK are doing firing in Budapest very easily? Sonakshi Sinha’s character is the saddest thing in the movie. Despite being the RAW agent, she has shown as too emotional. There are such flaws in the script, however, they are passable.
John Abraham fits in such rough and tough characters. His action hero is shining here. His intense cop is watchable. Despite her weak character, Sonakshi Sinha gives compliments to John by her punch and kicks. She is the new ‘action hero’ in the town! Tahir Raj Bhasin has done the amazing job as an antagonist. His cold-blooded villain is impressive. Way to go Tahir!
The music is disappointing. Dialogues are childish. The Action is stylish and experimental. The cinematography is visually stunning. The background music helps the narrative brilliantly. The editing is tight.
In short, Force 2 is a fast and entertaining action thriller. Watch it for an energetic experience!
